Jeffery Lindsey, Jr, Doctoral Fellow
Primary Research Focus
Mr. Lindsey has attended the American Associate of Blacks in Higher Education where he presented on a panel discussion titled “Mentorship Matters.” Mr. Lindsey will further his research on mentorship of black male students in higher education.
Professional Biography
Mr. Lindsey was a collegiate athlete during his tenure at Western Illinois University. After completing his time as an athlete Mr. Lindsey transitioned into a Graduate Assistant at the student recreation center. Mr. Lindsey found his passion for higher education after interacting and working with students on a daily basis. After receiving his masters Mr. Lindsey decided to pursue his doctorate furthering his education. Mr. Lindsey also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Texas Southern University’s recreation center.
Academic Degrees
Mr. Lindsey received his B.S. in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration and M.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Administration from Western Illinois University. Mr. Lindsey is now pursuing his Ed.D in Education Administration with a focus in Higher Education.
